We want you to be prepared for plastic surgery in Maryland at our Plastic Surgery Services center. Read the list of supplies below to ensure that you will be prepared pre- and post- plastic surgery in Maryland.
SUPPLIES NEEDED (AVAILABLE AT PHARMACY)
BACITRACIN (ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT)
GAUZE (EITHER 2X2 OR 4X4)
TAPE
INSTRUCTIONS:
REMOVE DRESSING TOMORROW
AFTER DRESSING IS GENTLY REMOVED LIBERALLY APPLY BACITRACIN INTO THE OPEN WOUND
COVER WOUND WITH CLEAN DRY GAUZE
4. REPEAT THIS PROCESS 3 TIMES PER DAY UNTIL YOUR RETURN VISIT
Use only NON-ASPIRIN pain relievers, such as Tylenol, as needed.
If bleeding occurs, apply firm, constant pressure with a gauze pad for 30 CONTINUOUS minutes. DO NOT lift gauze to check before 30 minutes elapses. It should stop.
