Get Fuller, Longer Eyelashes in Just a Few Weeks

Maryland Latisse Eyelash Enhancement

Latisse_Logo-300x112Do you wish for darker, more luscious eyelashes? Whether you have always been bothered by sparse, pale eyelashes or you have noticed your lashes becoming thinner as you age, Latisse™ can help you grow longer, fuller and darker lashes in as little as 8 weeks.

What is Latisse?

Latisse is the only FDA approved treatment for sparse or inadequate eyelashes. It is a liquid solution that you apply one time daily, directly to your upper eyelashes, which prompts accelerated eyelash growth. After several months of consistent use, eyelashes are typically fuller, longer, and darker in color than they were prior to treatment. Latisse is available only by prescription from a licensed physician such as Dr. Garazo.

For good candidates, Latisse can be an excellent option to darken and improve the volume of your own natural eyelashes without make-up. Some patients even find that they no longer need mascara to achieve their desired eyelash appearance after using Latisse.

When will I see results?

Most patients experience a noticeable increase in eyelash volume about 8 weeks after treatment. Eyelash growth continues to improve with extended use, and after 16 weeks most patients enjoy optimal results.

Continued use of Latisse is needed to maintain results. If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will gradually resume their prior appearance.

How to Apply Latisse Properly

While Latisse is generally safe, it is important that you apply it properly. At your consultation, Dr. Garazo and our medical aesthetician, Teresa, will show you detailed instructions for application. When applying Latisse, keep the following in mind:

  • Only apply Latisse to your upper eyelashes using the technique shown to you at your consultation.
  • If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Latisse, then wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.
  • Be sure to wash your hands before and after treatment

Am I a Good Candidate for Latisse?

Latisse is generally safe for all skin types and ages. You should not use Latisse if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It is important to tell Dr. Garazo about any current or previous eye condition at your consultation.
