Maryland Juvéderm Injections
Rejuvenate your face with Juvéderm® injectable fillers
Juvéderm products are very popular for non-surgical wrinkle treatment, and for good reason. With options to smooth out nasolabial folds, restore youthful lift and volume to the cheeks, and plump the lips, Juvéderm® injectables can help you rejuvenate your appearance where you want it most.
All Juvéderm injectable fillers are formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA), which naturally occurs in our skin and soft tissue and aids in keeping skin supple and moisturized. Over time, the natural HA in the body is depleted—and the family of Juvéderm fillers restores this lost HA to help keep your skin looking soft, healthy, and youthful. Juvéderm fillers have a smooth consistency that allows Dr. Garazo to use tiny needles to administer your treatment. Patients love that Juvéderm results are nearly instant and can last 6 months or longer depending on the product.
Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Henry Garazo performs all BOTOX® and filler injections personally for our patients. His in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy and cosmetic surgery experience help to ensure safe, predictable, and natural-looking Juvéderm results.
Juvéderm Volbella: Smooth lip lines & add volume to lips
If you’re concerned with the appearance of lines around your mouth or have noticed your lips thinning over the years, the latest from Juvéderm may be exactly what you need. Volbella is FDA approved to soften vertical lip lines in addition to providing a subtle increase in lip volume to help restore a more shapely, youthful lip contour.
Because Volbella was designed specifically for the lips and surrounding areas, it provides soft, natural-looking results—without giving the lips an overfilled appearance. Plus, it’s special formula is durable enough to handle the repetitive motion of your mouth for up to a year.
Juvéderm Vollure: Reduce parentheses lines & wrinkles
A new member of the Juvéderm family, Vollure is a fantastic option for providing long-lasting improvement of deep smile lines (parentheses lines) around the mouth and nose.
Lasting up to 18 months, Vollure has a thicker formulation of hyaluronic acid that is particularly well-suited to treating more severe wrinkles in the lower face, including smile lines, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, and the corners of the mouth.
Pain-free Juvéderm injections with PRO-NOX™
While many non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments are tolerable to most patients, we want to make sure your experience is as relaxed and comfortable as possible. That’s why we now offer PRO-NOX as an add-on option for your Juvéderm treatment.
What is PRO-NOX?
Have you ever heard of “laughing gas?” We typically think of the dentist when we hear nitrous oxide, but its ability to help ease discomfort and make you feel calmer can be a benefit in many situations—including your next cosmetic treatment at Plastic Surgery Services!
PRO-NOX is a self-administered nitrous oxide system that gives you control of your own comfort during treatment. Simply breathe through the mouthpiece when you need a bit of a relief, and the PRO-NOX system will deliver oxygen and nitrous oxide. You’ll feel it take effect in a matter of seconds—and when you’re done, it will wear off just as quickly. With no lasting effects, PRO-NOX is a great way to ease your pain and anxiety and then get back to your day.

Juvéderm XC: Softens lines around the nose & mouth
Juvéderm XC adds temporary volume to facial tissue to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. It is formulated with an anesthetic (lidocaine) for a more comfortable patient experience, meaning you will experience little-to-no discomfort.
- Great for smoothing out “parentheses” or nasolabial folds
- Can be used to enhance the fullness and contour of the lips
- Smooth, natural feeling consistency
- Treatment takes as little as 20 minutes, with little to no downtime
Juvéderm Ultra: Smooth deeper creases
Juvéderm Ultra is a special formulation that is ideal for smoothing vertical lip lines and improving the appearance of deeper lines around the mouth and nose. Because the consistency of Juvéderm Ultra is thicker than other formulations, Dr. Garazo most often uses it to soften nasolabial folds running from the bottom of the nose to sides of the mouth or to lessen the appearance of a deep mental crease (the dip between your bottom lip and chin).
Dr. Garazo injects Juvéderm Ultra using a tiny needle, inserting the gel into key points to achieve a natural-looking improvement of moderate to severe lines. Results can last 6 to 12 months, and a quick 30-minute appointment is all it takes to enjoy a more youthful look.
VOLUMA XC: Restores youthful volume to the cheeks
Age related volume loss around the cheekbones can lend a tired, sagging appearance to the face. Not even facelift surgery alone can do much to restore plumpness to the cheeks, but Juvéderm VOLUMA XC can!
VOLUMA XC is made from smooth hyaluronic acid gel, as is found in Juvéderm. The difference in VOLUMA XC is that the molecules are structured for deeper injection beneath the skin, which is necessary for a natural looking cheek enhancement. Dr. Garazo applies VOLUMA XC in strategic points around the cheek to create a subtle lift to the cheeks as well as a more naturally youthful contour.
- Results are immediate and continue to improve for a few days after treatment
- Volumizing effects last up to 2 years
- The typical patient requires less VOLUMA XC during re-treatment to maintain results
